While using Caffy Services (as defined in the Terms of Service.), you may encounter paid features, which are subject to this policy. This policy (which includes our Terms of Service and other policies) ("Payment Policy") is a contract between you and Wattpad Corp. ("Caffy", "we", or "us"). In addition to the rest of the platform, we offer you access to paid features in exchange for one-time or recurring fees. If you don’t agree to any of these terms, you can’t use Caffy or the paid features.
If you want to access Caffy’s paid features, you may use one of these payment options ("Payment Option" and collectively "Payment Options"):
Beans. On Caffy, you can purchase various Bean packages. Payments are available via link and credit card. Purchases made using Beans are non-refundable and can’t be sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged for cash. We may impose limits on the amount of Beans that may be purchased, accumulated, redeemed or otherwise used. Total number of Beans can be viewed at any time in your digital wallet on both mobile and desktop. These Beans have no “real world” value: their value at time of use may fluctuate and varies depending where you live and how many Beans exist, among many other factors.
Subscriptions. You may purchase a subscription to Caffy’s membership plans using your credit card. If you do, you’ll be charged immediately and then every one, six, or twelve months, depending on which subscription type and frequency you selected. Your subscription will automatically renew on the same basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
Free Trials. You may be offered a free trial period at our sole discretion. If you activate a fee trial, you will receive complimentary access to subscription features for the duration of the free trial period. Your paid subscription will automatically begin at the end of the free trial period. To avoid being charged, you must cancel your subscription before the free trial period ends.
Prices and availability of paid features may change at any time. We don’t provide price protection or refunds, even if a paid feature is reduced in price or becomes free or is removed from the Services. With the exception of free trials, you must pay for all paid features that you access.
Purchases are subject to our Payment Policy as well as the terms and conditions of the payment gateway and payment processor, depending on which gateway you used to make your purchase. You may be charged tax, if required by law, which you must pay. Taxes may include goods and services tax, duties, customs fees, or other taxes.
ALL PURCHASES ON CAFFY ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE, EXCEPT IN LIMITED CIRCUMSTANCES. Since Beans are a digital in-app currency and premium content is delivered instantly, we cannot accept returns once they have been credited to your account. You can cancel your subscription at any time and you won’t be charged again. We don’t give refunds for the period of time between when you cancel and when your subscription ends.
We may provide a refund in the following cases:
Technical Issues: If you were charged but did not receive the purchased Beans or premium content due to a verified technical error.
Duplicate Charges: If you were mistakenly charged multiple times for the same transaction.
Unauthorized Purchases: If a transaction was made without your authorization (subject to investigation).
Refund requests for these cases must be submitted within 14 days of the transaction.

Our support team will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
If you dispute a charge directly with your payment provider without contacting us first, your Caffy account may be suspended to prevent further fraudulent activity. We encourage you to reach out to us first—we are committed to resolving issues quickly and fairly.
We have the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate any of our policies, including this Payment Policy, without refunding you. If we terminate your account, you will lose any Beans in your digital wallet. Your subscription will continue until you end it. You may be barred from opening a new account depending on the reason that we terminated your account.
At our sole discretion, paid features may be added or removed at any time.
When you get Beans or subscriptions from us, you receive a personal, limited, non-assignable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive, revocable license. You can’t access paid features for non-personal, commercial, or public use. We reserve all rights, title, and interest in paid features on behalf of the creators. You can’t share your password or falsify or present inaccurate or misleading information as to your age in an effort to access the Services or content which has been age-restricted.
We may change the Payment Policy from time to time. Changes are effective as soon as we post the new Payment Policy. By accessing paid features, you agree to receive communications related to your Beans. If any part of the Payment Policy is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that part will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining term or condition.
